The role of electricity in the progress of civilization is unexplained. The demand for electricity is growing continuously. While land is the main means of production, electricity attained main tool in basic infrastructure. While wealth is produced by Labor, electricity is the core of economic development. So, developing a low carbon, energy secure and competitive economy is a big challenge before the society. While planning to establish power plants, the state must keep in mind about health, safety and livelihood of the people, environmental issues, and carbon emissions. The government should ensure quality power and to supply the same at affordable rates.
