The experts in the water resoureces explained about the River Linking Schemes, more particularlly about the Consequences of the proposed Polavaram – Banakacherla Lift Irrigation by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This scheme it is proposed to lift flood water from River Godavari at +148 feet to lift upto 984 feet and take to 860 feet.
